Kutsher’s Tribeca

186 Franklin Street,
New York
New York 10013
Phone: (212) 431-0606

An homage to the famous and now defunct Jewish resort in the Catskills, Kutsher’s Tribeca puts a decidedly modern and upmarket spin on Jewish American food, crowning their potato latkes with caviar and turning wild halibut into gefilte fish.  There’s house-cured pastrami on rye and a great pan-roasted trout with meyer lemon confit. For dessert, order the chocolate babka bread pudding for nostalgia’s sake and the rainbow cookie sundae.
Don’t Miss: Wild halibut gefilte fish, trio of potato latkes, Pan-roasted Catskill Mountain trout
End With: Chocolate babka bread pudding & rainbow cookie sundae.
Drink This: The KT limonata – champagne, vodka, house-made lemonade and muddled mint
Price: $$
Occasion: Jewish deli craving, group dinner, table for one at the bar, casual date
