Pies We’re Falling For This Fall

There’s a lot to love about fall, but none quite compare to pie.  Besides, practically everything we love about the season – pumpkins, apples, butternut squash, and maple syrup — come in pie form.  But have you noticed how exciting pies are lately?  I know it sounds like a contradiction in terms, but there’s a whole, new world of innovative flavors, fillings, and crusts.  There’s pies naughty enough to earn the title “Crack Pie” at Momofuku Milk Bar, cocktail-inspired pies like the Margarita Pie at Hill Country Chicken, and creative twists on apple pie, like the Apple Cider Cream Pie at First Prize Pies.  Here’s a few of our favorite traditional and unexpected slices to sink your teeth into this fall…
